Saffran Dalvegur is looking for an assistant restaurant manager in the dining area, 100% job.

 

Working shifts are 2-2-3:

 

Week one:

 

Mon, Tue, Fri: 10:00-22:30

 

Sat: 10:00-22:30, Sun: 10:00-22:30

 

Week two:

 

Wed, Thu: 10:00-22:30

 

After your initial training you are the restaurant manager's substitute when she/he is not around, your time working will be 95% on the floor with your crew where you will be participating in all tasks at hand as well as jumping into the kitchen when necessary. You are responsible for the restaurant, the crew, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, quality, waste and you will have to fill the rooster occasionally. You are the woman/man everybody will come to who your boss can rely on 100%. Amongst your responsibilities are full participation in all jobs, populate the rooster when necessary and be responsible for the restaurant, the crew and customers in absence of the restaurant manger.

 

 

Qualifications

  • At least 22 years of age
  • Experience as a team leader desirable
  • Good hygiene
  • Punctuality
  • Enthusiastic
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Very good English speaking skills
  • Good skills in human relations

Non EU or EFTA citizens need to be able to provide an unlimited working permit for Iceland.

 

Saffran was established 2004 and operates four restaurants in the Reykjavík area.
